DESCRIPTION:The City of Griffin and Spalding County are excited to continue the tradition of hosting the annual Independence Day Parade in Downtown Griffin. The parade will be held on Saturday\, July 4th at 10:00AM \nLocal businesses and individuals are encouraged to sign up to participate in the parade- walkers\, golf carts\, vehicles\, and floats are allowed. \nTo participate in the parade\, all golf carts\, vehicles\, and floats must be patriotically decorated and display a banner for the business or organization. If your parade entry includes a pull-behind trailer\, the length may not exceed 25 feet. \n**Please describe all parade entries individually in your group when registering (ex: Griffin Main Street program is entering 1 truck with trailer (float)\, 3 golf carts\, and will have walkers) \nPlease Note: NO CANDY is allowed to be thrown during the parade; walkers may hand out candy to spectators.
