DESCRIPTION:Over the last six years\, City Church in Griffin has been providing an opportunity for families in Griffin to enjoy a free night of creating memories as a family. From a free movie\, popcorn\, ice cream\, and water to games and more this event has seen hundreds of families and friends come together in Griffin.  \nWe are excited to announce that in April 17th\, 2026 Movie in the Park will also be a space for a Community Resource Fair. In partnership with the Spalding Collaborative for Children and Families\, we are excited to create a space for one night in our community where our goal is to gather as many local resources in one place.

You may even run into some famous legends of Griffin’s past. \nHosted by the Griffin+Spalding Chamber of Commerce supporting restaurants and venues to be announced! \nThis  year\, our Taste of History event will take you through a different look at the first 100 years of our sweet southern town.  We will be enjoying a progressive “taste” at new places and meeting new faces! Get to know Griffin in a whole a new way! \nTickets are available NOW!  Plan to come and bring a friend\, cost of the ticket includes transportation\, food and beverages. \nSome moderate walking and possibly climbing steps is required.
