SUMMARY:Back To School Bash & FREE Cookout
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the 2025-2026 school year kickoff with a community-wide Back To School Bash & FREE Cookout hosted by the City of Griffin Police Department and Griffin Fire-Rescue. \nJoin us at Raymond Head Junior Park from 5PM to 7PM for  dinner\, giveaways\, activities\, music\, and more. \nThe first 300 (elementary to high school) students will receive a backpack with school supplies\, thanks to local business sponsors and community donations. \nThose attending are encouraged to visit community partner booths for resources and free supplies. The City of Griffin Police Department’s New South Precinct and Community Center will be open for tours and registration. \nIf you are interested in donating school supplies to Griffin-Spalding Students\, plan to visit the Pack The Police Car School Supply Drive on Saturday\, July 12th\, in Downtown Griffin from 4PM to 7PM during the 2nd Saturday All American Summer Car Show or on Saturday\, July 19th\, at Wal-Mart Griffin from 10AM to 4PM. \nFor questions\, please contact Lt.
