Your Guide to the Griffin–Spalding County Fair: New Midway, New Events, Same Family-Friendly Fun

The Griffin–Spalding County Fair, hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Griffin, returns September 9–14, 2025 – and this year brings fresh thrills and beloved traditions together at the Kiwanis Fairgrounds (1025 S. Hill St.). Expect a bigger slate of attractions, new signature competitions, and a brand-new midway that’s all about safe, high-energy family fun.

What’s New This Year

  • Brand-new Midway – The fair welcomes Primetime Carnival Company (primecarnival.com), bringing a full lineup of kiddie, family, and major rides plus classic games and food stands.
  • Tractor & Truck Pull (Sat) – By popular demand, the roar returns with an afternoon-into-evening pull hosted by the Pike County Old Tractor & Equipment Club.
  • FOX BMX Stunt Show (Tue–Thu) – High-flying, crowd-pleasing shows at 6:00, 7:00, and 8:00 PM.
  • K9’s In Flight (All Six Days) – Incredible rescue dogs performing frisbee and agility feats all week long.
  • First-Ever Steak Cook-off (Sat, 4–8 PM) – Ten grill masters, one fire source, and bragging rights on the line.
  • Plus: a Living Statue, Kiwanis Kid’s Zone, and Petting Zoo to round out the family schedule.
