Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Celebration
Our Legacy Museum and Fairmont Event Center
Join us for a historic day as we celebrate the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of Our Legacy Museum and Fairmont Event Center on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
The day will begin with a formal dedication ceremony at 10:30 a.m., recognizing the many individuals, families, organizations, and community partners whose vision and dedication helped bring this project to life. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebrate the opening of a museum dedicated to preserving, sharing, and honoring the rich history and legacy of our community.
Beginning at 12:00 p.m., the celebration will transition into a Family Fun Day, continuing until 3:00 p.m. Visitors are invited to tour the museum, explore exhibits, and enjoy activities for all ages.
Family Fun Day will include:
Free hot dogs (while supplies last)
Free ice cream (while supplies last)
Family fun activities in the Fairmont Event Center
Museum tours
Commemorative children’s coloring books (while supplies last)
This special event is more than the opening of a building. It is a celebration of our community’s history, perseverance, and future. We invite everyone to join us as we honor the past, celebrate the present, and build a legacy for generations to come.
