Beat the Heat is a free, family-friendly community event designed to help residents cool off while enjoying an evening of fun and connecting with local first responders. The event will be held on Friday, July 10, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Carver Road Fire Station, 600 Carver Road in Griffin.
Families can enjoy water activities, games, food, fire trucks, and the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office helicopter. It’s a great opportunity to meet members of your local public safety agencies, learn more about the services they provide, and spend a fun-filled summer evening with your community. Everyone is invited to come out, beat the heat, and make lasting memories with family and friends.
